Thomas Jerome Osborne, Sr the son of James Osborne and Elizabeth Chadwick Osborne. Edna (Burleson) Osborne the daughter of Charles Burleson and Alta Ruth McDonald Burleson.
Tom Osborne
Tom Osborne, 75, of Powhatan, died Dec. 22, 2010, in Walnut Ridge.
He had lived in Lawrence County for the past 20 years and was a retired electrical engineer. He was a member of the Lions Club and was of the Methodist belief.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elizabeth Chadwick Osborne; and a son, Thomas Osborne Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Osborne; a daughter, Terri Lynn Brown, Alva, Okla.; three brothers, James Osborne, Zionsville, Ind., Gary Osborne, Greensboro, N.C., and Robert Osborne, Parker, Colo.; and three grandchildren, Ashley Brown, Blake Brown and Elana Osborne.
Funeral was Tuesday at 11 a.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home with Chris Whitehead officiating. Burial was in Old Lebanon Cemetery near Eaton.

Edna Osborne, 80, of Powhatan, died Oct. 30, 2017, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
She was born April 10, 1937, in Frankfort, Ind., to Charles Burleson and Alta Ruth McDonald Burleson. She was a high school graduate who chose to stay home and raise a family she deeply loved. She was a member of United Methodist Church and will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas J. Osborne; a son, Thomas Jerry Osborne Jr.; brothers, Jim Burleson, Marion Burleson, Richard Burleson and Ed Burleson; and sisters, Juanita Hendricks, Ruby Burleson and Ellen Maegerlain.
Edna is survived by a daughter, Terri Lynn Brown and husband Gary; granddaughters, Ashley Diane Lyon and husband Nick, and Elana Lee Osborne; grandson, Blake Michael Brown and wife Brandy; great-grandchildren, Lane Brown, Kaidin Brown, Toby Brown, Serena Brown, Boston Lyon and Gibson Lyon; brothers, Chuck Burleson, Bo Burleson and wife Polly, and Ted Burleson and wife Pat; and sisters, Jayne Brown and husband Ralph, and Sue Stowinsky.
Funeral services are Friday at 2 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Burial will be in Old Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
