Lawrence B. McBroom, 83, died at his home yesterday. He had resided on route 7 for the past 40 years. He is a member of the Assembly of God Church and a retired farmer. He was born Oct. 3, 1881 at Huntsville the son of James and Fanny McBroom.
Survivors include the widow, Dovie; two sons, Homer of Fayetteville and Eulus of Kansas City; three daughters, Mrs. Darre11 Meredith Sr. and Mrs. John Hinkle both of Fayetteville and Miss Jewel McBroom of the home; a brother, Jess of Huntsville; sister, Mrs. Effie Reed of Huntsville; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Moore's Chapel. Burial in the Buckner Cemetery.
