Clarence John Tunstill, 85, of Frankston, Texas, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1992, in a Palestine, Texas, hospital. Born Feb. 17, 1907, in Washington County, Ark., the son of John and Canzadia Dutton Tunstill, he was a line worker for Arkansas Western Gas Company and a farmer. He was a member of the Baldwin Church of Christ and served on the Buckner school hoard in Fayetteville. He moved to Frankston in 1990 from Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ersie Tunstill, in 1972; two sons, William Tunstill and Paul Tunstill; and a great-grandson, Bo McNeil Shaw.
Survivors are two sons, Fred Tunstill of Frankston, Texas, and Charles Tunstill of Lone Grove, Okla.; three daughters, Mary McCann of Dallas, Elizabeth Gardenhire of Barling and Martha Lindsay of Fayetteville; a sister, Blanch Mathis of Fayetteville; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will he held at 2 p.m., Thursday, at the Baldwin Church of Christ with Jack Hall officiating. Burial will be in Buckner Cemetery under the direction of Neison's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ersie Tunstill, 65, of Fayetteville died in a local hospital Monday. Born Aug. 7, 1906 in Arkansas, she was the
daughter of William and Mary Jane Benson Henderson.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence of the home; four sons, Paul of Fayetteville, Aaron and Fred of Dallas, Tex., and Charles of Oklahoma City.; three daughters, Mrs. Mary McCann of Dallas, Mrs. Elizabeth Nickson, of Fayetteville and Mrs. Martha Lindsey of West Fork; her mother of San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Roberts of San Jose, and Mrs. Julia McDaniels of Fresno, Calif.; three brothers, Juel Henderson of Anchorage, Ala., Archie of La Mirada, Calif. and Veston of Albany, Ore. and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Baldwin Church of Christ with burial in Buckner Cemetery under direction of Nelson's Funeral Home.
