Eloise Bennett Wallace, 87, of Conway, passed away Friday, August 22, 2008. She was born April 10, 1921 in Perryville, Arkansas, a daughter of Gordon Bennett and Pauline Rickman Bennett. She was the widow of Thomas Loomis Wallace, a retired Counselor for Perryville School District and a member of First Baptist Church Nimrod.
Survivors include two sisters, Laura Vaught and husband Warren of Perryville, Peggy Williams and husband Virgil of Perryville; one brother, Dick Bennett and wife Nora of Bigelow; and many nieces and nephews.
Eloise was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul Bennett, Donald Bennett, and Harold Bennett; and two sisters, Vaunda Bennett McCoy, and Joann Rinehart.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Perryville with Bro. Mike Hairston officiating. Burial will be at Nimrod Cemetery with by Harris Funeral Home of Perryville. Family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the funeral home in Perryville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Nimrod Baptist Church or Nimrod Cemetery Fund.
