Ted Holmes, 82, of Holly Springs, died early today in a Fordyce hospital. Services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Holly Springs Methodist Church with burial in the Old Holly Springs Cemetery under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home. Mr. Holmes is a retired carpenter, a member of the Holly Springs Methodist Church and life-long resident of Holly Springs. He is survived by his wife, Lura House Holmes; four stepsons, E. M. House of Camden, Emmett House of Holly Springs, J. C. House of Garland, Tex., and C. K. House of Segoville, Tex.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ann Freeman of El Dorado, and Mrs. James Simmons of Irving, Tex.; one brother, Allen Holmes of North Little Rock; one sister, Mrs. Ada Holmes of Conroe, Tex.; three grandchildren and 16 step grandchildren.
