Elendor R. Morgan of Batesville, daughter of the late Hubert Melvin and Alta Mabel Conner Shaver, was born August 11, 1924 in Violet Hill. She died on November 28, 2002 at Batesville. She was 78 years old.

During her working years, Ms. Morgan was a nurse's aid at Woodlawn Nursing Home. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two brothers, Bill Shaver of Violet Hill and Charles Shaver of Kansas City, Kansas; one sister, Alice J. Guthrie of Kansas City, Kansas and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Rufus Shaver.

Funeral services were held at Fairview Baptis Church in Violet Hill with Randy Scaggs officiating.

Pallbearers were Lucas Yount; Rusty Shaver; Russell Shaver; Glen Billingsley; Tom Guthrie; and Larry Coombs.

Interment was at Fairview Cemetery at Violet Hill under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
