Mrs. Emma Athelene Spears, 81, of Greenbrier died Saturday (Feb. 26, 2000) in Conway.Born Dec. 30, 1918, at Bono, daughter of the late Amos Burl and Mattie Faulk Kuykendall, she was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.Survivors are her husband, Quinton Hershel Spears; two sons, Gary Spears and Quinton Spears Jr., both of Greenbrier; three daughters, Mary Davis and Bonnie Moix, both of Greenbrier, and Donna Hawkins of Conway; a sister, Eufaula Reynolds of Corning (Clay County); nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home with the Rev. Gaylon King officiating. Burial will be in Copperas Springs Cemetery at Guy.Pallbearers will be Jason Spears, Justin Spears, Wesley Spears, Sammy Smith, Hershal Smith, Bill Davis and Danny Moix.Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
