Verna W. Gray, 84, of Mountain Home died December 29, 2004 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was born August 22, 1920 to Connie A. and Mary H. Bunch Wright. On May 20, 1942, she married Hewert Gray in San Antonio, Texas. They moved to Mountain Home from Davenport, Iowa. She was a member of the Twin Lakes Women's Golf League.
Mrs. Gray is survived by her husband, Hewert Gray of their home; three sons: Marvin (Maureen) Gray of Granite Bay, California, Douglas Gray of Hancock, Maine, and Gerald (Linda) Gray; one daughter: Andrea (Bruce) Bryant of Muscatine, Iowa; seven grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; one brother: Elvin Wright of Corsicana, Texas; four sisters: Zelma Swaim, of Fort Worth, Texas, Gaynelle Gray of Tyler, Texas, Erma Christianson of Corsicana, Texas, and Velna Newman of Seattle, Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
