Mrs. Leveda Hickman, age 86 of Flippin passed away Wednesday December 8, 2010 at home. She was born August 9, 1924 in Gamaliel, Arkansas to Robert and Della Bean McFarland. She married Chester Hickman on September 11, 1943 in Henderson. She was a member of the Henderson Baptist Church.
She is survived by 6 sons: Jack (Anna) Hickman of Mountain Home, Charlie (Karyn) Hickman of Henderson, Cleo (Linda) Hickman of Viola, Gary (Debbie) Hickman of Flippin, Junior (Wanda) Hickman of Henderson and J L (Peggy) Hickman of Mountain Home; 3 daughters: Betty (David) Onelio of Walnut, Kansas, Joquita (Joe) Seehusen of Henderson and Barbara (Vaughn) Pettit of Mountain Home; 28 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Chester Hickman in 1977, daughter, Zella Southard in 2005 and 2 brothers: Laffel McFarland and Johnny McFarland.
Visitation will be from 12-9 PM Friday December 10, 2010 at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday December 11, 2010 at Roller Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Custer Herron Cemetery.
