BALD KNOB -- Nona Count Tubbs, 56, of Bald Knob, departed this life on Monday, May 7, 2007, at Searcy.
She was born Feb. 8, 1951, the daughter of Grover and Freda Counts. She lived at Alicia and Swifton before moving to Bald Knob in 1990. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Jackie Lloyd and Melba Alberson; and two brothers, Billy and Tommy Counts.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Johnny Tubbs; four children, Kathy Weaver and husband Jimmy of Swifton, Heather Stogner and husband Mel of Pangburn, Cheryl Carpenter and husband Phillip of Pangburn and Shannon Tubbs of Bald Knob; grandchildren, Maegan Weaver, Lucas and John Reeves, Noah Stogner and one foreign exchange grandchild, Olga Lorenz; three brothers, Larry, Jimmy and Joe Counts; three sisters, Hilda Wortington, Brenda Nicholson and Mickey Alberson; and many other friends and family.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge. Burial will follow at Strangers Home Cemetery near Alicia.
Visitation will be tonight from 6-8 at the funeral home.
