Bobby Layne
Bobby Leaon Layne, 68, of Jonesboro, died Feb. 29, 2008, at Jonesboro.
He was preceded in death by a son, Rick Layne; and his parents, Luther and Willene Collier Layne.
He was a native of Hoxie.
Survivors include his wife, Viola Layne; a daughter, Rhonda Dutton, Jonesboro; a son, Dale Layne, Jonesboro; and five brothers, Donald Layne, Hoxie, Dwight Lane, Fayetteville, Rayburn Layne, Jonesboro, Boyd Lane, Benton, and Delbert Layne, Orange Beach, Ala.
Funeral was Tuesday at 10 a.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home with Darrell Douglas and Rick Dobbins officiating. Burial was in Strangers Home Cemetery near Alicia.
Pallbearers were K.L. Williams, Harvey Bodie Pittman, Gary Knuckles, Wayne "Country" Pittman, Terry Kibby and Gary Kibby. Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Pittman Sr., Darrell Colburn, Dwight Lane, Boyd Lane, Donald Layne, Rayburn Layne and Delbert Layne.

Viola Ann Layne
(April 19, 1941 - October 22, 2017)
Viola Ann Arnn Layne, 76 of Walnut Ridge, died Sunday October 22, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
She was born April 19, 1941 in Clover Bend, AR to Addison & Alice (Weaver) Arnn. She spent some years living in Craighead county before moving to Walnut Ridge. Viola was a member of Hoxie Baptist and a retired housekeeper.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Layne; son, Rick Layne; great granddaughter, Aubree Dutton; and brothers, Wilbur Arnn, Paul Arnn, Boyce Arnn, and Gerald Arnn.
Viola is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Tribble & husband Robert of Walnut Ridge; son, Curtis Dale Layne of Jonesboro; grandsons, Travis Dutton & wife Kama Strickland of Bono, Preston Dutton & wife Angel of Metaire, LA, Derek Dutton & wife Chelsea of Jonesboro; granddaughter, Robyn Smith & husband Matt of Augusta; grandchildren, Jeffery Sheets, Beth Sheets, Jackie Layne, Brandon Layne, and Bryan Wilson; great grandchildren, Keyleigh Dutton, Laynea Dutton, Andrew Ryan Dutton, Chloe Smith, Andrew Hill, Anseley Tribble and several more; sisters, Juanita Patterson & husband Jack, and Nona F. Donovan and husband Virgil, both of Alicia.
Visitation is Wednesday October 25, 2017 at 2:00PM in the House-Gregg Funeral Chapel in Walnut Ridge.
Funeral services will follow immediately at the chapel at 3:00PM with Everett Hart officiating.
There will be a private burial in Strangers Home Cemetery in Alicia under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, Arkansas.
