HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. — Jessie Beatrice Gladden, 83, of Hendersonville, formerly of Alicia and Tuckerman, died Sunday, April 21, at Laurels Nursing Home in Hendersonville. Born at Cave City, she was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal belief.
Survivors include one daughter, Yvonne Mier of Ionia, Mich.; a sister, Brooksie Crumpton of Hillsboro, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Roy Gladden; her parents, Allen and Allie Ward Haigwood; one son; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Strangers Home Cemetery under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
