Iona (Felton) Baker the daughter of Sam Felton and Elsie (Ramsey) Felton.
Iona Baker
Iona Baker, 73, of Swifton, died Aug. 20, 2009, at St. Bernards in Jonesboro.
Born Dec. 1, 1935, in Franklin, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gene Baker, on Aug. 25, 1995, whom she married May 29, 1953; her parents, Sam and Elsie Ramsey Felton; four brothers, three sisters and a grandson.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Baker, Jerry Baker and David Baker, all of Alicia; two daughters, Martha Edwards, Newport, and Marie Baker, Swifton; a sister, Virginia McManners, Batesville; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was Saturday at 2 p.m. at Strangers Home Cemetery with Mack Ballard officiating. Bryan Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Dane King, Derek King, Cody Hall, Coleton Edwards, Johnathan Baker and Jordan Baker. Honorary pallbearers were William Roper and Tim Nicholson.
