March 31, 1940 - March 5, 2008
Lela Jordan, 67, of Jonesboro, formerly of Black Rock, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Jonesboro. Survivors include her husband, George W Jordan; three sons, John Lashare, Terry Haney, and Michael Haney; two daughters, Jeanette Lashare Spees and Georgina Jordan Baldwin; one sister, Retta Nicholson; 19 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 8, at House-Gregg Funeral Home, with Wayne Bryant officiating. Burial followed in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Newport.
