July 12, 1928 - August 1, 2009
Linda E. Brown, 81, of Jonesboro passed away Saturday at St. Bernard's Medical Center. The Lord knew it was time to bring this angel home. She was born July 12, 1928 in Arbyrd, MO to John Earl and Florence Skinner. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Mark Brown and his wife Tina of Jonesboro; four grandchildren Mark Brown II, Jason Schoon, Dan Cale and Amie Cale; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers John Skinner of Jonesboro, Robert Skinner and Joe Skinner, both of Edgewater, FL; and three sisters Charlene Slatton of Machesney Park, IL, Ann Tallent of Lake City and Faye Reese of Jonesboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Richard Tucker; her second husband Bill Brown; a daughter, Regina Brown; a son, Ronnie Tucker; a sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, August 6 at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Wynndel King officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
