Age 76, of Parkers Chapel, formerly of Jersey, died on Sunday at her home, after a lengthy illness; born in Jersey, a daughter of Mattie Mildred Vinson and Alfred Henry Vinson; a homemaker, a former business owner, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, a master gardener, a member of West Side Baptist Church and a member of the Arkansas Genealogical Society, the Union County Genealogical Society, and the Bradley County Genealogical Society. Shirley and her husband (Hugh) Ned, played a vital role in starting the Felsenthal Bream Festival. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ned, a sister, Mary Elizabeth Daniels, and two brothers; Van Henry Vinson and Ralph Wayne Vinson, all of San Jose, California. Survived by one daughter, Kathy Brown of Parkers Chapel, a son, Dale Michael Humble Sr. (Jan) of West Monroe LA, two brothers; Jerry E. Vinson of San Jose CA, and James L. Vinson of Mt. View CA; three grandchildren, Alicia Wood of Jonesville LA, Angela Brown of Parkers Chapel and D. Michael Humble, Jr. of West Monroe, and a very dear and special friend, Myrtle Ward of El Dorado.
