Gwendolyn Taft, 71, of Eagle Lake, Fla., died of heart failure Friday, June 2, 2006. Born Aug. 11, 1934, in Pennsylvania, Mrs. Taft moved to Eagle Lake from Ohio 12 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Winter Haven. She was a member of the VFW, Winter Haven.
Mrs. Taft is survived by her husband, John Taft; sons Steven Kaczmar of Mountain Home and Kevin Kaczmar of California; daughter Michelle O'Brien of California; stepdaughter Nancy Watkins of Ohio; brother Norman Rifenburg of Missouri; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Oak Ridge Funeral Care.
