Carnella “Sissy” Mode, 18, of Guy, passed away Sunday, September 2nd, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

She was a senior at Guy Perkins High known for her great sense of humor, who enjoyed time spent with her family and many friends, tending her horses, and working as a cashier at the Greenbrier Super Center. She was a member of The Copperas Springs Baptist Church in Guy.

Sissy is survived by her parents; Joseph K.and Tammie Mode, a brother; Joseph Mode, Jr., a sister; Colleen Marie Mode, great-grandmother; Onita Barnum, grandparents; Carnella Barbara and Anthony Louriero, her Memaw and Papa, Diane and Robert Remus, grandmother; Pauline Rich-Mode, uncle; Calvin B. Mode, aunt; Melody Rene Simonson, cousins; Josh Delaney, Alicia Hartwick, Bridget Browning, and Christalle Delaney, great uncles and aunts; Aulton and Donna Mode, Keith and Ann Mode, Vern and Rosemary Cowan, Tom and Margie Fowler, Hoyt and Linda Thomas, Robert Ross, and Johnny Ross, and a host of other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; William Wallace Jamison Ross, and Germain Snych, her grandfather; Eulon Ray Mode, and great-grandparents Troy Barnum, and Faber and Julia Mode.

Services will be held Friday, September 7th, 3:00 p.m. at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Brother Gary Burdin officiating and burial to follow at Mode Cemetery in Guy. The visitation will be Thursday, September 6th, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pall Bearers will be; Calvin B. Mode, Kevin Hartwick, Sammy Duncan, Larry Grimes, Larry Johnson, and Scotty Poole. Honorary Pall Bearers; Brad Mode and Damin Fowler.
