Leslie Neal Mode, 90 of Conway, passed away Friday March 4th, 2011. He was born September 23, 1920 to the late Frederick and Lucy Vivian Allen Mode. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Randall Mode and Eldon Mode.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of the 454th Bomb Squadron and flew in over seventy missions during World War II. He also served as a Meteorologist during the Vietnam War. Leslie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Gazelle Presley Mode, two sons Gregory Thomas Mode, Donnell Neal Mode and his wife Sherri Mode, and one grand-daughter, Virginia Gazelle Mode, all of Conway.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8th,2011 at Mode Cemetery in Guy under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway(501-327-7727).
