Lincoln — Joseph Peter Reed, 72, of Summers, died at his home Sunday. He was born June 16, 1893 at Dutch Mills, the son of Charles and Anna Luginbuel Reed, and was a prominent cattle farmer.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Myrtle Hargrow Reed of the home; one son, Guy of Overguard, Ariz.; one brother, Ebb of Dutch Mills; one half-brother, Tee of Prairie Grove; One sister, Mrs. Orpha Allen of Watts, Okla.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service will he at 2 p.m. Thursday at Summers Community Church with burial in White Rock Cemetery near Dutch Mills under direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.

SNOWFLAKE, Ariz, — Guy Allen Reed, 78, of Snowflake died March 21, 2000, at Snowflake. He was born April 9, 1921, in Dutch Mills to Joseph and Myrtle Hardgrove Reed.
He was a Mason and a member of the VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Reed of Snowflake; two daughters, Frances D. Hutton of South Brunswick, S.C., and Anita Brewer of Overgaard, Ariz.; one son, Richard Allen Reed of Newman, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove with Paul Young officiating.
Burial will be in White Rock Cemetery at Dutch Mills.
