Mrs. Maudie E. Bolding, 74, Of Cotter, a lifetime resident of Baxter County, died Monday at the Marion County Hospital in Yellville.
She was the widow of Martin Edgar Bolding, who died in 1929, and was a member of the Cotter Assembly of God Church. She was born here July 30, 1896, the daughter of John and Alice Smith Lane.
Survivors include six sons, Lloyd of Mt. Home, Edgar T. of Springfield, MO, Hubert of Memphis, TN, Leroy of San Antonio, TX and Earl and Mildred Bolding of Little Rock; a daughter, Mrs. Stella Hurst of Little Rock; two brothers, Johnny Lane of Okemah, OK; two sisters, Mrs. Dessie Hodge and Mrs. Gladys Plum, both of Okemah; and 17 grandchildren.
The funeral service was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at the Cotter Assembly of God Church with Rev. Billie Burks officiating.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery at Buford, under the direction of the McClure-Smith Service.
