Gloria Laurel Fawcett, 64, of Salem died Monday (Aug 30, 1993) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Services will be held at 2PM today at the Pentecostal Church of God in Salem, under the direction of Roller Funeral Home. Brother Lee Word and Sister Murle Brunson will officiate the ceremony. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery (Shady Grove).
Mrs. Fawcett was born Dec 24, 1928, at Monett, AR. She married Cleo Edward Fawcett on Feb, 12, 1949, at Salem and was a housewife and longtime resident of Salem. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God and church secretary/treasurer and a member of the V.F.W. Ladies' Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Ada and William Young; two brothers; two sisters and one son.
Mrs. Fawcett is survived by her husband, Cleo Edward Fawcett of the home; two sons, Ed Fawcett of Mt. Home, Michael Fawcett of Oakland; three daughters, Ada Ruth Bryant of Gurdon, Janice Elaine Lake of Salem, and Kathleen Toler of Salem; three brothers, Chester Young, William Young, Jr. and Adrian Young, all of Salem; and two sisters, Daisy Pierce of Salem and Eunice Hilburn of Raytown, MO.
