Died January 21, 1991, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Daughter of Albert & Mary Ellen Weatherford Chastain.

Dovie Unger, 82, lifetime resident of this area, died Tuesday (Jan 29, 1991) at her home in Mt. Home.
Visitation will be Sunday from 9AM-9PM at Roller Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM. The funeral will be Monday at 2PM at Galatia Assembly of God Church at Norfork with the Rev. Rex Middleton officiating. Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery.
Mrs. Unger was born April 16, 1908, at Elizabeth. She was a housewife and a Protestant. She married Alonzo 'Lon' Franklin Unger on Oct 29, 1933.
Survivors include four sons, Nathan Tilley of Hot Springs, Ernest Unger of Towanda, KS, L.J. Unger of Flippin and Junior Unger of Mt. Home; four daughters, Georgia Jones of Livingston, TX, and Mary Ellen Harmon of Drain, OR; 32 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Ellen Weatherford Chastain; her husband, three sons, two brothers, one sister and one half-brother.
Pallbearers will be David Bradley, Trevis Unger, Wayne Lamb, Mark Dowden, Danny Unger and Cliff Dowden.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Jones, Michael Jones and Drewey Cantrell.
