Thelma Lee Sutterfield was born April 4, 1936, at Old Joe, Arkanss, the daughter of Edward Anthony Taylor and Nancy 'Dollie' Stanford Taylor. She was married to the late Olen Sutterfield. She had been a lifetime resident of this area and was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved to read 'True Story Magazine', loved westerns and fishing. She loved her family and loved to baby sit. Thelma Lee Sutterfield entered into eternal rest on February 29, 2004, at Mt. Home, Arkansas, at the age of 67 years, 10 months, and 25 days.
SURVIVORS: 3 sons, James Taylor and wife Tisha of Harrison, Arkansas, George Brown and wife Debra of Malvern, Arkansas, Arlis Sutterfield and wife Sally of Marshall, Arkansas; 6 daughters, Etta Lou Wilson and husband Douglas of Calico Rock, Arkansas, Regina McKinney of Marshall, Arkansas, Nancy Posey and husband Lee of Big Flat, Arkansas, Barbara Burgess and husband David of Pineville, Arkansas, Edna Sutterfield of Summit, Arkansas, Alma Paxton and husband James of Summit, Arkansas; 27 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Martha Teegarden of Mt. Home, Arkansas, Etta Patterson of Peoria, Illinois, Dixie Wilson of Norfork, Arkansas; 1 brother, Leon Taylor of Norfork, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: 1 daughter, Brenda Sue Sutterfield; 1 brother, Bill Hendricks; and 2 sisters, Galdys Hendricks and Velma Taylor.
VISITATION: Wednesday, March 3, 2004 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM
FUNERAL: Old Galatia Chruch Thursday, March 4, 2004, 10:00AM
BURIAL: Galatia Cemetery, Norfork, Arkansas.
MEMORIALS: American Diabetes Association or the Arkansas Children's Hospital.
HONORAY BEARERS: Bill Sutterfield, Wayne Kindstrom, Bobbie Roberts and Henry Roberts
