Daughter of George & Virtis Stratton Dickerson.
Married Richard Bryan Parnell, June 14, 1919, Norfork, Baxter County, Arkansas.


Elsie I. Parnell, 90, of Norfork died Tuesday (Dec 29, 1992) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10AM Fiday at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Forrest Bynum and Bro. Daniel Fundyk officiating.
Visitation is from 9AM to 9PM today at the Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8PM.
Burial will be at Galaia Cemetery with David Dickerson, Marty Dickerson, Kenneth Dickerson, Ray Dickerson, Everett Parnell and Willie Parnell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Dickerson and Dr. Maxwell Cheney.
Mrs. Parnell was a lifetime area resident, born on Jan 16, 1902, at Mt. Home. She was a housewife and worked as a cook of the Norfork Public Schools. She was a member of the Norfork First Baptist Church. She married Richard Bryan Parnell on June 14, 1919, at Norfork. She was preceded in death by her husband. Both parents, George and
Virtis Stratton Dickerson and five brothers, also preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, Seth Dickerson of Mt. Home; a daughter, Earnesteen Burleson of Cashmere, WA; eight grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; four great great granchildren; hosts of nieces and nephews.
