Bentonville - Mrs. Dot Rakes Lawson, 76, died Monday in a local nursing home. She was born Sept. 25, 1891 in Stuart, Va., and moved to Benton County in 1900.
Survivors are three brothers, George, Ed and David Rakes, all of Bentonville and three sisters, Mrs. Maude Morgan of Monette, Mo., Mrs. Mae Harrington of Sherman, Tex., and Mrs. Minnie Findley of East Mobile, Ill.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Burns Chapel with burial in Hart Cemetery.
