(from Pleasant Site) Mrs. Asa Hays died last Wednesday at her home west of this place after a long illness of a complicated disease. Mrs. Hays was a good neighbor and a faithful church worker and was loved by all who knew her. She struggled with life until 9:30 Wednesday when the death angel darkened their home and took from it a dear wife and mother. She leaves a husband and six children to mourn the loss.
