Fannie - May 14, 1944 - March 2, 1968

Fannie Jefferson 24, of Chidester was killed Sunday in a two car crash near Thornton on U.S. Highway 79. Officers said Miss Jefferson was a passenger in a car driven by 22-year old Lucille Jefferson also of Chidester. The Jefferson auto collided with one driven by John Brown of Dayton, Ohio. Both drivers were taken to the Fordyce Hospital. (Camden News - March 5, 1968)
