Wife of William Banks Richmond. Rutha "Ruthie" Texanna Claunts was born to the parents John Harvey Claunts & Ellender McBee. The Claunts migrated from Tennesse, to Missouri, to Bates Community Sebastian County Arkansas, and then to Blackfork Community, where Rutha & William met and were married. They were married about 1870, and soon thereafter moved to Dayton along with Williams' brother James Davis Richmond. Rutha Texanna & William Banks had seven known children: (1) Emma (b. abt 1871), (2) Ella (b. abt 1873), (3) John W. (b. abt 1874), (4) Benjamin F. (b. October 1879), (5) Jesse H. (b. abt 1880), (6) Infant Daughter (b.&d. February 9, 1882)& (7) Charles H. (b. Ocotber 1884.
