Leonard JONES, 48, of Louann, died in an El Dorado hospital Monday at 2:35 a.m.
Mr. Jones was a former resident of Old Smead in Calhoun County and has been
making his home in Louann. He is survived by his wife and his father F.O. Jones
of Louann; two daughters Miss Patsy Fern Jones and Miss Terry Lynn Jones, both
of Louann; two sons Billy Wayne Jones of El Dorado and Bud Jones of Galveston,
Texas; two sisters Mrs. J.L. Harrell of Louann and Mrs. Herschel Evans of
Bearden; one brother Pitmon Jones of El Dorado; three grandchildren and one
niece. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at New Hope Church
near Hampton with Rev. Gus Poole of Louann officiating. Burial will be in the
New Hope Cemetery with Proctor Funeral Home in charge.
