Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Pickens, 78, who died Monday at the home of her son, Albert J. Pickens, in Mt. Home, were held at the Church of Christ in Norfork yesterday. Burial was in the Norfork Cemetery, with the Barber-Barto Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pickens, one of the early pioneers of this county, was born August 19, 1872. She was married August 20, 1986, to D.F. Pickens. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Albert J. Pickens of Mt. Home; three sisters, Mrs. Oda Wilson of Gassville, Mrs. Winnie Raymond of Norfork, and Mrs. Hattie Bryant of Mt. Home; and a brother, Joe Frix of Kansas City, MO.
