WALNUT RIDGE Willard Lee Huskey, 90, died Monday, April 26, 2010, at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center.

He had lived in Lawrence County most of his life. He was retired from the City of Hoxie and a member of the Hoxie Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Minnie Obanion Huskey, and brothers, Ralph and Roy Huskey.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia Kingcade Huskey of Walnut Ridge; daughters, Frances Forrester of Hoxie and Mona Adkisson of Walnut Ridge; son, Joe Huskey of Hoxie; sister, Alma Jean Wheeler of Swifton; brother, Claude Huskey of Walnut Ridge; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today in House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with Tommie Boles and A.J. Stracener officiating. Burial will follow in Swifton Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services, from noon until 1 today, at the funeral home.

Georgia Kingcade Huskey

Georgia the daughter of William Franklin and Lucy (Newman) Kingcade.
Walnut Ridge – Georgia Frances Huskey, 94, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Home in Walnut Ridge. She was born on September 8, 1922 in Walnut Ridge to William Franklin and Lucy Newman Kingcade. She was a homemaker and a member of Hoxie Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willard Lee Huskey; daughter, Mona Adkisson; brothers, Buddy Kingcade and Claude Kingcade; and sisters, Millie Adkisson, Virginia Wicker, Thelma Songer, and Annie Cook.

Survivors include daughter, Frances Forrester of Cherokee Village; son, Joe Huskey (Sally) of Hoxie; sister, Wanda Gilligan of Machesney Park, Illinois; six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Huskey will be Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home with Tommie Boles and Blaine Liscomb officiating. Burial will be at Swifton Cemetery, Swifton, Arkansas, under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Cade Forrester, Larry Forrester, Billy Brown, Nick Brown, Spencer Brown, Shakara Woodley, Shalena Boles, Shayla Boles, Joey Huskey, and Loye Adkisson.
