Jim Washington Frazier, 71, of Rt. 1, Strong died January 28 in a local hospital. Born in Union County, March 15, 1899, he was the son of Frank and Emma Frazier. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Missouri Frazier, El Dorado; six sons, Roy J. Williams, Robbins, Ill., L. C. Welch, Chicago, Ill., Jimmy Frazier and Kelly Frazier, both of Muskegon, Mich., Cleotis Frazier, El Dorado, and Clayton Frazier, Farmerville, La.; five daughters, Mrs. Joan George, Mrs. Mae Jo Daniels, Mrs. Ernestine Henderson and Mrs. Emma Lee Murchison, all of Chicago, and Mrs. Louise Williams, Argo, Ill.; five brothers, L. J. Frazier, Eddie Frazier, Seabe Frazier, A. J. Frazier and T. C. Frazier, all of El Dorado; two sisters, Mrs. Pinkie Cobb and Mrs. Ophelia Scales, both of El Dorado; 40 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Bethlehem Baptist Church, Old Hillsboro Community, with the Rev. W. A. Sargent officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. (El Dorado Times - February 5, 1971)
