She was a daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Mary Louisa Houser Roberts. She was married to Thomas J. Hyland, William W. Williams, and J. J. Peavey. She was my great-grandaunt. She and her sister Mary Lenora "Nora" raised my grandfather Reyburn P. Vance and his twin brother Clay.
