September 22, 1878 - September 8, 1966
Mrs. Mittie Mainley Armour, 87, of 722 Spring St., a longtime resident of El Dorado died at 7 a.m. Thursday in a local nursing home following a long illness. She was born in Charlotte, N. C., Sept. 22, 1878, the daughter of Henry and Sara Helms Trull. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Survivors include eight daughters, Mrs. Eunice Pulley of Gulfport, Miss., Mrs. A. D. Hicks and Mrs. F. b. Henry, both of El Dorado, Mrs. Hessie Pass of Longview, Tex., Mrs. C. H. Miley of Shreveport, Mrs. Walter Crane of Hugoton, Kan., Mrs. W. C. Rogers of Logansport, La., and Mrs. Phil Smith of Yantis, Tex.; a brother, W. C. Trull of Monroe, La.; a sister, Mrs. Curtis Johnson of Hermitage; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Rumph Mortuary. (The El Dorado Times - September 8, 1966)
