Taylor-Penn Cemetery
Lawrence County,
Arkansas

Survey Completed: Apr 2008

This little burial ground is at the edge of a bluff and could easily wash away in flood waters. The flood of 2008 already washed away part of the ground very near these graves.
To find the place, take Lawrence Co Rd 323 south from its intersection with AR 25. Just before you reach the end of the road you will see a modern pre-fab metal farm building on the right. Walk through the gap in the fence and follow the inside of it back north along the road. After you pass an old dilapidated wood farm building you will come into an open pasture. Turn left and walk through the pasture into the distant tree-line. follow the top edge of the bluff and very soon you will spot the gravestones. Remember that this is private property.
