Audrey A. Bethea Tolson, 83, of Hampton died Wednesday October 14, 2015 at El Dorado. Born October 2, 1932 at Baton Rouge, LA, she was a daughter of the late Floyd Ashley and Bernice Hardy Ashley. She was preceded in death by her husbands, T.P. Bethea and H.W. Tolson, and a brother, Alton Ashley. She is survived by her children, Virgil Bethea and wife Regina of Hampton, Monroe Bethea and wife Janice of Poplarville, MS, Elizabeth Johnston and husband David of Hampton, T.P. Bethea, Jr. and wife Rise' of Monroe, LA, Sam Bethea and wife Sallie of Minden, LA, step-son Steve Tolson of Hammond, LA; brother Virgil Ashley of Jena, LA; sisters Phyllis Parker of Winnsboro, LA, Bobbie Wise of Winnsboro, LA; grandchildren Christine Benefield, Kevin Bethea, Shane Johnston, Chad Bethea, David Bethea, Adam Bethea, Ashley Taylor, Billy Bethea, Tyler Bethea, Hardy Bethea, Madeline Bethea; step-grandson Kyle Tolson; seventeen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Campground Presbyterian Church with Rev. Garland Skidmore officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Hampton/Fordyce.
