Alton A. Sanders, 78 of Louann, AR passed away Monday, August 26, 2019. He was born to Luther and Annie McKinney Sanders on April 06, 1941 in Camden, AR. He retired after 34 ½ years with International Paper Company. He raised chickens for ConAgra for 18 years and he also raised cattle.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Novella Byrd and an infant sister.
He is survived by his wife, Ranelda Sanders of Louann, AR; daughter, Rane Thibault and husband, Joe of Louann, AR; granddaughter, Katelynn Gifford of Louann, AR; and brother, Carlton Sanders and wife, Linda of Heber Springs, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00PM Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in New Hope Cemetery at Woodberry, AR. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Ouachita County Medical Center Hospice, 726 California Avenue, Camden, AR 71701. (Proctor Funeral Home - Camden, Arkansas)
