Veda Isabell Williams Coleman, 98, of Little Rock, passed from this life on August 28, 2019. She was born March 19, 1921 in Rusk County, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Coleman, to whom she was married for 60 years, and who was a Baptist pastor. She was also preceded by her parents, Horace Vernon and Lottie Sarah Sanders Williams and five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her son, Curtis Wayne Coleman, and his wife, Kathryn, of Little Rock, her daughter Janice Louise Mobbs, and her husband, Lonnie, of Benton, six grandchildren, Randi Mackey (Steve) of Cabot, Chris Coleman (Jaime) of Little Rock, J. J. Coleman (Cari) of Springdale, Chris Mobbs of Benton, Nichole Mobbs of Stuttgart, Ashley Mobbs of Benton, and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to serving as a pastor's wife with devotion to church families in Texas and Arkansas, she was Social Services Director at Conway Memorial Hospital for 25 years before her retirement.
Her memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, at 11:00 A.M. at Crystal Hill Baptist Church, 18823 Crystal Valley Road, Little Rock. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 3 from 5-7 p.m. at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock. Burial will be at Crystal Hill Cemetary. Rev. Ron Sanders will conduct the service.

Clyde Waldo Coleman, 85, of Little Rock went to be with his Lord, Friday, Dec. 15, 2006.
He was born in Jonesboro on March 19, 1921, a son of the late Orville Q. and Lucy Futrell Coleman.
He was a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and a United States Air Force Veteran of World War II.
A retired pastor and educator, he served as pastor at churches in Texas and Arkansas for 50 years. He was chairman of the Department of Religion at Central Baptist College in Conway, pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Conway, associate pastor of Second Baptist Church in Conway, and associate pastor of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church in Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Veda Coleman of Little Rock; a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Kathryn Coleman of Little Rock; a daughter, Janice Jobes of Benton; a granddaughter, Randi Mackey of Ward; two grandsons, Chris Coleman of Maumelle and J.J. Coleman of Springdale; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald and Leonard Coleman of Jonesboro; and a sister, Louise Gipson of Blytheville.
The funeral service was held in Crystal Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Coleman officiating. Interment was in Crystal Hill Cemetery.
