Cecille Magie Morin, known affectionately as Granny Crackers, passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 75 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Cecille was born on November 13, 1948, in Tampa, Florida, to her parents Harry and Gloria Houston.

Granny Crackers was a lover of the environment, dedicating her life to advocating for wildlife and the river. She cherished her family, friends, all of her pets, her farm, finding joy in fishing, swimming, gardening, porch sitting, listening to great music and enjoying a hot cup of coffee.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Rau, and grandchildren Forrest Hickman, Jared Magie, Rebecca Gerster, Crystal Pearson, Olivia Dunlap, and great-grandchildren Ace, Allison, Kyle, Stella, Wren, Hazel, Lettie, and Atlas.

Cecille was preceded in death by her son Jeffry Magie and her sister Coralie Houston.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Cecille will be held on May 18th, 2024, at 1pm at her daughter's residence on Will Jones Rd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made by planting a tree in memory of Cecille's dedication to the environment.

May her love for nature and family live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her.
