Karen Gwyne (McElhaney) Hagan, 59, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on November 18, 2020. She was born on March 9, 1962 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Albert Brooks and Mary Ann (Cellars) McElhaney.

She was an amazing daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She loved her family, children, grandchildren and cats, most of all. She was very creative and could turn something old into something new. She loved to create flower arrangements and was incredible at it. She could have started her own business with the skills and natural talent. She loved to sing and make people laugh. She was the star that never made it to the stage.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann McElhaney.

Karen leaves behind her loving children Shawn and Jason; Larry Balentine, loving father and friend; eight grandchildren Austin, Weston, Braxton, Zayden, Jasmine, Mariah, Peyton, and Aurora; her father Albert Brooks McElhaney nine nieces and nephews; her sisters Tamara Fitzpatrick, (her twin sister) Carol Young (Terry) and Paula Michau (Darin Thomas); a host of extended family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be Sunday, December 13,2020, at 2:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Shannon Hills, 101709 Shannon Hills Drive, Mablevale, Arkansas.

Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400
