*Obituary
Patricia Ann (Carr) Harcus was the second of seven children born to William Lee Carr and Velma Christine (Hill) Carr arriving on April 18th, 1942, in Houston Tx.

She was a loving and lovable person with a passion for helping people and animals. Patricia had such a joyous nature and infectious, hearty laugh that people couldn’t resist laughing with her. She brought cheer to everyone around her. Often called Patsy or Patti (less formal and more suited to her easy-going and fun-loving personality), she had a way of using humor to put people at wase in most any situation.

Patricia was a sweet, kind soul with a joy of living life that was so admirable. She faced adversity and hardships with courage and hard work (surviving the loss of two husbands and beating breast cancer). Quick to make friends and forgiving natured, she never met a stranger and would always offer her helpful and loving spirit. She would give even the last of anything she had to benefit anyone who needed something. Judgement was not something she indulged in but rather accepted all life with respect and love.

She loved all living creatures and would risk eviction rather than let any outcast go hungry. Patricia was frequently known to feed the hungry of both four-legged and two-legged variety without regard for her one needs and means. She loved cooking and doing crafts, especially to nurture or give to others. These actions were a clear expression of her profound faith and belief that: ‘In all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose” Romans 8:28. She truly applied the biblical passage written on a plaque which she kept on the wall: ‘As for me an my house, we will serve the Lord” Joshua 24:15.

Patricia passed away in Clinton Arkansas on September 2, 2023. She is survived by her sisters: Eva (Jess) Corrigan and Lena McMurtray and friend Earl Lewis, Katheryn (Lewis) Bell along with 6 nephews and 4 nieces.

This life has lost a beautiful soul and Heaven has gained an Angel. Rest in Peace Patricia. You will always be loved and never forgotten.
