FAYETTEVILLE -- Myrtle Zelma Kinsey, aged 78, of Fayetteville passed away on April 25, 2015, in Fayetteville. She was born in Riviera, Texas, on Sept. 17, 1936, the daughter of David and Louise Wright Buttram.

She married James Leon Kinsey in 1957. Myrtle moved to California in the 1950s and moved to Arkansas in 1965.

She was preceded in death by two sons, James Robert and Alfred Ray Kinsey.

She attended Assembly of God in Mount Ida for six years and various other churches after that. Myrtle enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She lived life to the fullest. Myrtle had friends at Hillcrest Towers and volunteered at the resale shop at Hillcrest.

Myrtle is survived by daughters, Mary Pugh and Judy Kinsey; and sons, John, David and Sam Kinsey; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015, from 4-6 p.m. at Beard's Chapel. Memorial services will be held Friday, May 1, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Beard's Chapel. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Beard's Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
