Hope E. Matochik, 89 of El Dorado, passed away, Monday, September 23, 2013, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born June 9, 1924, to Emory and Anna Dempsey Ferguson in Ogdensburg, NY.
She move to El Dorado in 1968 where she was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, and she was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, George J. Matochik; sister, Tina Reid, and daughter, Kelly Matochik McKinney.

Survivors include her sons, Peter Matochik (Teresa) of El Dorado; Paul Matochik of Hot Springs Village; four grandchildren, Brian Matochik (Pam) of Memphis, TN, Paige Matochik Fitzgerald (Kevin) of Killeen, TX, Blake McKinney of El Dorado, and Adam Tilman of Memphis, TN; four great grandchildren, Craig Fitzgerald, Katelyn Fitzgerald, Emi Joy Matochik and Jack Matochik; and a special niece, Hope Ann Patterson.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at Young’s.

A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
