*When Sam W Vaughn was born in 1874 in Arkansas, his father, John, was 68 and his mother, Amanda, was 38. He married Ida S Nowell Vaughan on January 11, 1901. They had three children during their marriage. He died on February 28, 1940, at the age of 66.
Ida S Nowell Vaughan was born on November 4, 1883, in Arkansas. She married Sam W Vaughn on January 11, 1901. They had three children during their marriage. She died on March 9, 1941, in Pangburn, Arkansas, at the age of 57.
