Johnny Scruggs Bullington Sr., 80, of Fort Smith died April 18, 2013, in Fort Smith.
He was born Jan. 7, 1933, in Okmulgee, Okla., to William and Catherine Skelton Bullington.

Johnny was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was the owner of John Bullington & Son Roofing, was active at the Senior Citizens Center and was a member of Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church.

Johnny is survived by his companion of 16 years, Georgia Brasher; his daughters, Julie Massey of Fort Smith and Donna Stout of Centerton; three sons, Johnny Jr. and Gary and Allen Bullington, all of Fort Smith; two sisters, Gladys Chevelle of Florida and Doris Spencer of Arkansas; his brother, Jerry Bullington of Van Buren; 26 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Ann Bullington.

Funeral services for Johnny will be 2 p.m. today in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Michael and Johnny Massey, Peyton and Donnie Bullington, Taylen and Tyler Patton and Scott Kovalck.
