Jeff Carson ”Pucker” Brock of Pocola, Oklahoma was born on October 28, 1936 to Judson and Velvie (Buckner) Brock in Stigler, Oklahoma and passed away on March 16, 2017 in Pocola, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years.

Jeff is survived by one daughter, Carla Beam and husband Keith of Pocola, Oklahoma; three sons, Eddie Brock and wife Shelley of Heavener, Oklahoma, Jeff Brock of Arkoma, Oklahoma, and Derrell Brock and wife Olivia of Arkoma, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Jane of Keota, Oklahoma, Evorah of Stigler, Oklahoma and Lorene of Keota, Oklahoma, one brother; Joe Brock of Florida.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lora (Gulley) Brock, five sisters, and one brother. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Arkoma, Oklahoma and an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Funeral services were March 20, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Arkoma, Oklahoma with Reverend Tommie Parker and Brother Rick Kester officiating. Interment was at the Woodlawn Cemetery of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Honorary pallbearers were Joe Brock, Jeff Brock, Tommy Joe Brock, Keith Beam, Timothy Briggs, Drew Brock, and Cody Brock.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Mallory Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.

September 22, 1939 - June 3, 2008

Lora Laverne Brock of Arkoma was born Sept. 22, 1939, in Enterprise to Charlie and Nellie Gulley and went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 3, 2008, in a local hospital at the age of 68. She was a loving wife and mom. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Carson of the home; one daughter, Carla Beam and husband Keith of Pocola; three sons, Edward Brock and wife Shelley of Heavener, Jeff Brock of Arkoma, and Derrell Brock and wife Olivia of Arkoma; two brothers, Gene Gulley of Oklahoma City and Ray Gulley of Stigler; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a member of Arkoma First Baptist Church and she loved spending time with her family. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2008, at Arkoma First Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Kester and the Rev. Steve Steward officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro. Pallbearers will be Bob Parker, Othel Harrison, Steve Stewart, Travis Jones, Joe Dix and Jack Gage.
