Mrs. Lena Mae Staggs, 84 of Omaha, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She was born, Saturday, July 3, 1926 in Okolona, Arkansas to Henry and Annie Smith Bratcher. Mrs. Staggs was a home maker and a member of First Baptist Church in Cookville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy Staggs in 2003 and one son, Gary Daniel Staggs. Mrs. Staggs is survived by son; Eddie Staggs of Omaha, TX, Daughter; Susan Harris and husband, Charles of Maud, TX, Two Sisters; Cloel Landers of Red Oak, TX and Sarah Buettner of Texarkana, TX, five grandchildren, eight Great-grandchildren, one Great-Great-grandchild and numerous other relatives. Funeral service for Mrs. Staggs, 2:00pm, Sunday, July 3 at the First Baptist Church in Cookville, TX with Rev. Mike White officiating. Graveside service, 5:30pm, Sunday, July 3, at DeAnn Cemetery, Prescott, AR under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, AR.
