FAYETTEVILLE — Ruth Ann Lambert, 98, of Fayetteville died Jan. 23, 2007, at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. She was born Dec. 18, 1908, in Mahomet, Ill.,
to William B. and Margaret Steaduhar Behrens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lambert and two sisters, Marion Mitchell and Frances Fish. She attended the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago and Northwestern University. She served three years in the Navy. She was an accomplished singer, legal secretary and partner in her husband's business.
Survivors include one niece, Doris Lewis of Bloomington, Ill.; one nephew, Robert B. Mitchell of Bella Vista.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, online at www.mooresfuneralchapel.com.
