Robert D. "Bob" Boggan, born September 3, 1919, in Hickory, Mississippi. He was a member and a deacon of Phoenix Village Baptist Church and sang in the choir. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific and Europe. He was a Master Mason, a member of Lodge No. 430 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and a Teamster No. 373 of Fort Smith.

He was a bread salesman having worked for Muskogee Bakery, he managed Melo Toast Bakery in Poteau, where he met his wife of 57 years. He worked for Shipley baking Co. in Fort Smith, where he retired.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, and their husbands, and three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services was held at 10 a.m. at Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Honorary Pallbearers were the deacons of Phoenix Village Baptist Church.

Grace Lucille Boggan, 91, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in a local nursing home.
She was born in Poteau, Oklahoma to Fred and Birdie (Bell) Hargrove.

She retired from Sparks after 25 years as a medical transcriptionist.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, a grandson, Patrick Holmes, one sister and two brothers.
Grace attended Southside Baptist Church.

Funeral service is 1:00PM, Friday, November 30, 2018 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

She is survived by her two daughters, Bobbie Hall and her husband Mike of Little Rock, AR and Nancy Eatmon of Fort Smith, AR; three grandchildren, Rob Hall and his wife Shelby of Columbia, MO, Christie Holmes of Fort Smith, AR and Sarah Marks and her husband Tom of Springdale, AR and six great grandchildren, Sam and Joe Hall, Emily Holmes and Abby, Jack and Natalie Marks.
